Christine Friberg

Hi Christine, tell us bout your best Way Out West memory!
– It must be when I organized a day party for CAT at Fee Fi Fo Fum and brought in an excavator to build the DJ booth up in the excavator’s bucket. I also booked Cleo to perform for a huge crowd in the sun, who was climbing on the excavator during the performance. It was an amazing party!

Where should one go to cure the hangover after the weekend?
– Coffee at Bar Centro (Kyrkogatan 31), a sandwich at Bodega Nord (Nordenskiöldsgatan 18), and then straight to Hagabadet and into a cold pool.

Where should one go to find the best party and after-party this weekend?
– The best after-party is always ÜBER, it’s a must-visit and, to me, even more exciting than the festival itself, haha.

What shouldn’t be missed in Gothenburg this weekend?
– Åke Falk in Dungen! GBG’s finest!!! Also, all the fantastic day parties around the city, it’s great to glide from one place to another.

Haris Pozega

Hello Haris, tell us about your best memory form Way Out West!
– There are quite a few, but I have to say that seeing Frank Ocean at Way Out West 2017 tops everything!

Where do you go to cure your hangover this weekend?
– If my mom hasn’t made her famous burek, I’ll probably go to Mellis in Majorna.

Where should one go to find the best party and after-party?
– The best party is definitely hosted by the club concept Voyage – the location and date will be announced. But expect an amazing party!

What shouldn’t be missed in Gothenburg during this week?
– Don’t miss out on putting mild sauce on your pizza (something that people from Stockholm can’t relate to). Also, don’t miss all the pre-parties and after-parties happening outside the festival area!

Emma Miller Olsson

Hi Emma, tell us about your best Way Out West memory!
– My best WOW memory has to be when I saw Lana Del Rey in 2017. It was incredibly beautiful and emotional. There’s something special about seeing your favorite artist perform!

Where should one go to cure their hangover this week?
– The best place to cure a hangover is Bar Robusta, Olivedalsgatan 26. A good beer and truffle pasta beats everything. There’s nothing tastier or more rejuvenating for me.

Where should one go to find the best party and after-party?
– The best after-party must be at Yaki-Da. The place is packed, with great music and nice drinks.

What should one absolutely not miss this week?
– All the incredible parties happening outside of the WOW area, where you might even catch me performing, who knows?

Niki Sadeghi

Hi Niki, tell us about your best Way Out West memory!
– I don’t remember much from before Covid… Last year, I had a fever and was running around playing on an empty stomach, it was really though. But I managed to see Herbie Hancock with my best friend Karin, and it was delightful.

Where do you prefer to go to cure your hangover?
– I prefer to go alone to Koie at Magasinsgatan 3 and have some ramen. Then I want to walk 20 meters away and have a Bloody Mary at Bruno’s courtyard. Preferably with some company.

Where should one go to find the best party this weekend?
– ÜBER

What should one absolutely not miss this weekend?
– Blur! Or JUNO’s awesome bookings! Also, Åke Falk in Dungen!

What shouldn’t be missed in Gothenburg this week?

Myrna Lorentzon

Hello Myrna, tell us about your best Way Out West memory!
– My best memory is from a terrace party at Scandic Rubinen. It started pouring rain, so everyone had to huddle together on a way too small area. It was very cozy!

Where should one go to cure the hangover this week?
– My feeling is that there isn’t much time to cure a hangover the weekend itself. It’s something you have to start dealing with on the train ride back home, right? Or at least, it’s not something I’ve managed to do (but the times I’ve stayed at hotels, I always find that the best remedy is their breakfast), so that’s my tip. Find a really nice breakfast place somewhere!

Where should one go to find the best party?
– Since I love representing everything that’s Stockholm-basic, I’m a sucker for the parties organised by Nöjesguiden. Last year, they had two incredible performances at their day parties: Shirley Clamp & Günther.

What shouldn’t be missed this weekend?
– I want to see Caroline Polachek, Bladee and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (mostly so I can film for my boyfriend who loves them). Otherwise, I don’t know? You tell me? Way Out West always manages to give me the feeling that I’m constantly missing out on something really fun happening somewhere else, no matter what I do or where I am. But I guess that’s a sign of a successful festival?

Where can one find the best party and after-party this weekend?
– I don’t know, but invite me if you know any good ones!

What should one absolutely not miss in Gothenburg?
– Bar Centro at Kyrkogatan 31!
